In November, 2018 CWWL and Vital Voices hosted the inaugural VVEngage Leadership Gathering, which brought together 22 women representing 17 countries in Florence, Italy to develop their personal and political leadership skills. Participants connected for training on political communications, branding and political leadership discussions with The Council of Women World Leaders. Prime Minister of Canada Kim Campbell and Council of Women World Leaders Secretary General Laura Liswood participated.
